It is a dumb nice feeling to get a handful of messages from people that I’ve never spoken with before saying that my site is down.
That means that even to this day, I don’t know all of my readers. I love that. It also means there are still people that care and love IHL enough to let me know that I’m screwing up!
This time though wasn’t my fault – my hosting company apparently had a problem where a giant machined robot had stomped on their data centers, followed by a huge moth like beast swooping down upon the cool electric jolts. Well you know what happens when moths meet electricty – so it took a day or so for them to dig through the remains of the fried insect, dodging the laser blasts of the robot – to hit the reset button.
